About the GLP
ALU and ALX, in collaboration with the Carnegie Foundation, will welcome its fourth cohort to the Global Leadership Program (GLP) in Stanford, California this April 2025.
Five ALX learners will earn the opportunity to participate in lectures, workshops, networking and site visits to many innovative tech companies headquartered in the Bay Area and with faculty and students from across the US. Here, learning and community-building take place hand-in-hand to develop the global tech leaders of tomorrow.

The programme will run in April 2025.
The programme is designed for 10 exceptional ALX learners and entrepreneurs, on a nomination basis.
Yes, staff accompany the students throughout the duration of the programme to provide guidance and support.
Students will stay near Stanford University, with additional accommodations in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Housing will be a combination of dorms, homestays, hostels and hotels.
Financial aid is available to cover part or all of the programme fee. Financial aid packages range from $500 to $8,500 USD, based on need and merit. Students are encouraged to be truthful about their financial circumstances, as ability to pay the programme fee factors into final selection decisions.
